Important Information:

  • Volunteers are the responsibility of the Parade Entrant.  Volunteers will be required to carry/guide the Inflatable through the Parade Route
  • Helium – requirements are based on a standard 291 cu ft tanks.  Entrants are responsible for providing their own helium.
  • Set-Up and Take-Down – Entrants are responsible for having 2 volunteers available to inflate the entry.  Sand bags or other tie downs must be used if all volunteers are not available during inflation.  Entrants are responsible for deflating the units.
  • Externally lit Helium Units can be lit by a spotlight.  Recommend Entrant affix a spotlight to a golf cart that will precede the Inflatable.  Golf Carts should be decorated.
  • Weather Restrictions:  Helium balloons cannot be flown if the wind speed is 22 mph or greater or wind gusts to 25 mph.  Inflatables can be flown in rain or snowy conditions.  Lightning may prohibit items from being flown.
  • Pole Units are cold air units.  They include a battery powered blower built in and a battery pack to be worn by one of the volunteers.
